How early can OncoK9 detect cancer?
OncoK9 has been designed to detect cancer-associated genomic alterations that are present even in very early cancers. As a result, OncoK9 may detect cancer at an early stage, or early in its clinical course, even before recognizable clinical signs have appeared. A Cancer Signal Detected (positive) test result indicates the likely presence of cancer in the body. The ability of OncoK9 to detect cancer increases with size and extent of disease. Therefore, when it is used for screening in patients without clinical signs suggestive of cancer, repeat testing at annual intervals will increase the likelihood of detecting cancer by OncoK9.
