How often can or should a patient be retested with OncoK9 after a Cancer Signal Not Detected result?

Early-stage disease may not provide sufficient detectable signal. If cancer remains high on the differential list based on the patient’s clinical picture, retesting 2 months after the initial result is recommended as advancing disease generally provides a higher cancer signal.

If the OncoK9 test is being used in a patient that is not suspected of having cancer but in which screening is recommended due to age or high risk breed, performing an OncoK9 test annually is recommended.
